TrueImageHomeService.exe*32 running constantly and chewing up big CPU
HI all,
I'm running Acronis True Image 2016 on my Win 7 x64 machine, 16GB RAM, Intel i7 quad core processor. (The machine is used for making music.)
Lately, the Acronis process described above runs from the moment I start the machine, and it chews up 30-50% of CPU, which has a big impact on my music-making apps. I can't figure out how to prevent this process from running. I'm afraid to just kill it in Windows Task Manager, because while it's running the activity lights on tow of my hard drives are flashing. What do I do to shut it off?

FYI, the problem may have been solved. I checked this forum out, and found a post from a guy who found that the program's log function was continuously writing to a log file, chewing up disk and CPU. I ran the utility file included in a response to that post, and True Image is a lot quiter now, its various processes using less than 1% CPU.
