My complaint is, AFTER A DECADE OF ANNUAL UPGRADES, you still can't provide a better way for us to use ASZ.
You can't look at the sizes of the source and destination drives, and make some basic assumption (like 5% of incremental change in drive C for Windows 10 for typical users, or 15% to be safe), suggest user a scheme (like 1xfull, 6x incremental, and no more than 4 full sets)???
And if the ASZ is full, what can your software do? Consolidating all increments into a full? Or delete all backups in ASZ?
When ASZ is full, after I revise the backup settings (to,say, allow no more than 1 full set from 4), and execute the backup, shouldn't your software first attempt to delete the oldest 3 sets so as to make room for the backup to work?
OR JUST GIVE IT A NEW SKIN EVERY YEAR AND ASK FOR MORE UPGRADE MONEY??

Like Steve I no longer use ASZ - have not used it since version 10 (I think). Backing up to the same HDD is high risk, if the disk fails you loose your backup. Installing a second HDD is the best solution, or if you have a notebook, then using a USB HDD drive (preferably USB 3 or 3.1) for backups.

It's not terribly unusual for a vendor to produce a feature that initially looks promising but is eventually proven to be of little use. It's also not unusual for the vendor to remove the feature even though some customers use it. ASZ has not proven its usefulness. Acronis is probably not allocating many resources to enhancing ASZ but they haven't pulled it out from under those that use it.
Is there something you are doing with ASZ that cannot be as easily done by creating and using partitions outside of an Acronis product?
