System Report file won't delete
Tried the System Report tool (Acronis True Image 2019) out of curiosity, but the compressed file is nested in the Program files. When I try to move or delete it, I'm getting the message that it needs an Administrator to perform this. This is my personal computer - aren't I the Administrator?

Hi Geoff, prob also switch off Acronis Active Protection module

Thanks for responses. I don't know if I have the Acronis Active Protection on. Would it allow me to delete the file safely if I can turn it off? I wouldn't be able to send this on if Acronis required it to solve another problem, and I'm no better off if it overwrites with another file.

Geoff, open the ATI GUI then look for the AAP icon (Shield with lightening) shown in the left side options. Open the AAP page and it will tell you if it is enabled / turned on.
You can turn off AAP while you deal with files that are otherwise protected, then turn back on again when done.
A new System Report file can be created by clicking on the (?) Help icon shown in the lower left corner of the GUI.

Can someone tell me if there is a command line argument to the system report generator to direct output. When I run the report from the ATI UI, it asks me where to save it. But when I ran it from the Start menu, it just put it into the Program Files folder... not the best place.
It would be nice to direct it to a specific folder, through a cmd file for example.

Bruno, you could use the AcronisInfo tool instead of System Report, where the former does allow you to set the output file name. (Don't know if any of the options below would also work with the SystemReport.exe tool).
See KB 2707: AcronisInfo Utility for more details.
Executing AcronisInfo in command-line
Example:
AcronisInfo.exe C:\AcronisInfo.zip
Turning off gathering of specific items
Example:
AcronisInfo.exe C:\AcronisInfo.zip –no_diskrep
- -no_ra: User Rights Assignment is turned off
- -no_syslog: Windows Event Log is turned off
- -no_msreport: Msinfo32 is turned off
- -no_acroreg: Acronis registry keys is turned off
- -no_acrolog: Acronis logs is turned off
- -no_schedrep: Acronis Scheduler report is turned off
- -no_diskrep: Acronis Disks Report is turned off
- -no_ad: User’s Active Directory groups is turned off

Bruno, the following will work with SystemReport.exe and allow the zip to be created where you want using your own name.
SystemReport.exe /filename:"d:\Cloud\Acronis\MVP Assistant\newreport.zip"

Switching off the Acronis Active Protection worked for me, and file is now deleted. First time I've used the forum - when I tried to press the green 'Mark as Solution' button after the comments, nothing happened.

Geoff, thank you for posting an update to your topic! Could you please try again marking the thread as solved, just tested the button - it worked for me

Something happened this time - in place of the green button it shows 'Didn't help' against the comment that was very useful.

That's Ok - the button will lead to a new topic creation form in case, the solution didn't help
