Acronis Home hangs and crashes Recycle Bin and explorer Vista 64
I have installed Acronis 2010 Home on Vista 64. It hangs the recycle bin when right clicked. Also explorer hangs and then crashes. when accessed. I have uninstalled the program, and everything is fine again. When i reinstall the program, it starts hanging and crashing again. I have unistalled it a second time. I have run windows Live and everything is fine and up to date. I am running :
Dual quad core Mac Pro, with a dual boot. 2.8 Ghz Intel R Xeon
Everything is running under Vista Ultimate 64 bit Service pack 1
6Gb ram

I have similar problems, Windows 7 x64, running build 6053. Should I use SnapAPI Build 503?
TI Home 11 worked flawless for me, so I did not really enjoy my upgrade to TI Home 2010.

Well, i decided not toe await an answer: i installed Build 503 alongside TI Home 2010 build 6053, and all is well now!

I have the same problems except applying the SnapAPI didn't fix a thing. Is there any way to see if it installed properly? Would uninstalling ATI, applying the SnapAPI then reinstalling make any difference?

Running Vista 32 bit on a PC. Exactly same problem as on the Mac mentioned above.
Further to the above, I have read other threads and so today tried installing SnapAPI.503_s_e with no effect.

A complete uninstall of ATI2010 with (of course) antivirus turned off, plus reinstall from a fresh download, followed by a second install of SnapAPI503 seems to have sorted my Windows Explorer recycle problem. I also rebooted the PC at each stage.
Perhaps the message is: Don’t give up!
Thanks to Chat Support for making me do this all twice!

Only now the problem has recurred without any reason!

Has there been an MS update for Vista between the new SNAPAPI working and it failing?

No. Last update was just prior ro first installation.

Hello all,
Run the downloaded file. The gathered information will be put in AcronisInfo.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved.
Running AcronisInfo may take up to 5 minutes.

Oleg, I have created the dump files as requested. The repair did not work at all.
One thing unclear above was whether to reboot as prompted before installing SnapAPI.
Unfortunately the link to you for a private message didn't work either - hence I submitted a web form and attached the files as requested.
I'm looking forward to further advice.
Best wishes

Hello Ted,
Thank you for your response.
I have found the AcronisInfo file only, unfortunately, this file is unable to help us to find the exact reason of the issue. Could you please obtain dump files (#1) and ProcMon file (#3)?
I have enabled Private messaging in your account.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.
