Backup schemes keeps resetting themselves

Thread needs solution

Hello everybody
I am using Acronis True Image 2012 Home since a few weeks and unfortunately I am experiencing some problems. My system is connected to a network storage device and I have made 4 schemes:
• 1 daily backup (run at 01:00)
• 1 weekly backup (run Su at 22:00)
• 1 weekly backup pictures (run Su at 17:00)
• 1 weekly backup music (run Su at 18:00)
After the daily backup Acronis is allowed to shut down the system. The next morning the problem occurs: Acronis has deactivated all the backup schemes and changed the starting-times to 21:00. This is quiet annoying, since I have to manually adjust every scheme again.

My system:
Freshly installed Windows 7 Pro SP1 (including all updates)

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thanks!

Try creating one new, simple smal task and see if the problem occurs with that. If not, then delete the existing tasks and recreate.

If it does recur, try it without the shut down and see if it recurs. If so, I would then contact TEch with a system report and log.

Hi Scott

I have recreated the backup schemes, and the backup was fine. However, the scheme was again resetted.
I tried to change the settings of the backup schemes, removing the auto shutdown after creating the backup, but I received another error while trying to save the new settings:

Acronis could "not access the file". Error codes:
0x00040014+0x000FFF0+0x0800704C3

Where does this come from?

Thanks!

Create a system report and save the log and send them to TEch.

Meanwhile, after you've sent them, you can try doing a repair. Start the install package and choose repair.

Hi Scott

I already tried to repair Acronis, however, this also did not work. I created a system report, but where do I find the log file and where can I find the tech mail-adresses?

Thanks!

Hey Scott

I am not able to send this to a technician. I can only get support over this forum. Could you please PM me with the technicians' mail address?

Thanks!
