Can't no more access to Samsung 700Z Bios while cloning
Hello ,
From Windows 8 , I ran the Clone Tool of ACronis True image 2013 to create a copy of my Samsung 700Z HDD to an external USB HDD .
AT once "ACronis True image 2013" reboot automatically ( or asked to reboot ) to begin the clone process,
and when the Acronis reboot took place , I got the following red screen issued from BIOS :
" Image field to verify with 'access denied' - Press any key to continue "
Of course my external HDD has not been cloned by Acronis True image , but now , once unplugged the targeted HDD , I have no more access to the BIOS settings . The " press "F2" to enter boot or "F4" to enter setup " banner that was displayed at the very beginning of the boot sequence has vanished , and I have no more access to the BIOS by pressing F2 key .
It seems that is related to the UEFI boot mode set in the bios by default , but now that I have no more access to the BIOS setting , I can't changed this BIOS boot mode .......
A CMOS-BIOS battery reset seems not the good solution has UEFI is default mode .
Can you help ?
Best regards ,
