Installation crashes Win8 Tablet (not Windows RT)
Trying to install eval version of 2013 on Acer Windows 8 tablet causes crash. System thread exception not handled (tdrpman.sys). Tried running as administrator but same result. This is a new Acer W510 tablet with Windows 8, Intel Atom processor, 16gb flash memory. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue with my HP Envy X2. On installation it crashes with the error System thread exception not handled (tdrpman.sys)
This is with a clean boot environment as well.
My tablet also has an intel atom processor, with 2gb of ram and a 64 gb SSD. I wonder if there is a problem with Acronis and Intel Atom processors?
In any case, this is troublesome as the program crashes messily, requires a system restore to remove all the corrupt Registry files.

I have exactly the same issue with an HP Envy X2.
Logged an issue with Acronis chat support- but no one at home.

Previous versions of ACronis had a special edition for Intel Atom processors.

The system requirements of ATI 2013 do not specify whether Intel Atom are supported or not.

Thanks Pat. Well it helps to have more information- but i'm looking for a refund now.
I need a backup utility that works right now.
I've logged a support ticket.

Same Problem on Acer W510 today. Installation File - Download Version - seems to be older than half a year. Still no fix?

I had exactly the same Problem with the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2, also using an Intel Atom processor. I wonder whether there will be a solution? Does Acronis True Image 2014 solve the Problem?

Hello Berthold,
sorry for the delay with answer.
According to our database the issue has been fixed in True Image 2013 by Acronis Update 1.
Thank you.
