Raid array and HDD on add-in card not recognized
I just upgraded my computer - Win7-64 and I am using ATI Home 2010. The upgrade included a raid0 array with 2 HDD's using Windows computer management and I added an add-in PCIe card that uses Silicon Image 3114 driver. when I boot using the ATI boot CD, I can see the raid0 array as the two hard drives (instead of the single array drive) and I can see the HDD attached to the add-in card, but it is greyed out. How can I get these two drives to be recognized?

Apparently both (add-in SATA card) & (Raid0 array) are software driven. Neither show up in the BIOS. The raid0 does not show up during boot, but the SATA card shows up in post during bootup. Am I out of luck for both?

Well, the card is definitely hardware and you have a software driver...
Launch the disk management console and check whether your disks are basic or dynamic. If they are dynamic and in RAID0, ATI will not work.
Breaking a RAID0 typically involves reinstalling everything. ATI supports dynamic disks with the Plus Pack, but not software RAIDs.
The card issue is probably different: this is most likely the ATI linux version on the CD missing the driver for it. Try the 2011 version. Or build a BartPE-based recovery medium. Or purchase the Plus Pack and build a WinPE-based recovery medium. Both BartPE and WinPE use the windows drivers.
Can you post a screen shot of your disk management console?

If I create a recovery disc based on WinPE or BartPE, will I be able to install my drivers so the program will see the add-in card?

You can slip in drivers in WinPE, but I have never done it.
