delete manually archive takes a very long time.

Thread needs solution

hi

can you help me with my issue. i have multiple backup tasks. one of them raised an error while deleting/replicating data on my internal hard drive.

i have multiple errors but no reference on your knowledge base

for example: 0x00400001, or 0x00400002

it seems that acronis was not able to delete the data on the vault. the backup is ok and the replica is on the external hard drive. but i assume that deleting data is no longer possible. i tried to delete it manually. it's seems to be effective as i see the free space value increasing but the process is still a 0% as shown in the attached file.

Thank you for your posting! The most common reason for this issue is the corruption of meta-files residing in depots. During a backup or other operation with a backup archive Acronis Managed Machine Service parses the contents of the meta-files (an .xml-file for unmanaged vaults and .meta folder for managed) in the backup location and compares it with the actual TIB files in the vault. Eroor message Failed to open archive by ID appears when an inconsistency between meta-files and the actual TIB files is found. To resolve the issue we need to restore meta information in the vault. Please proceed with instructions from this article if you are using an unmanaged vault. For a managed vault please refer to the following article. If the issue persists, this article will be helpful (also for managed vault)
