Acronis Rescue Media and Realtek controller
Dear All,
I describe all steps below :
- After installing Acronis Backup and Recovery v12497 or v12705, we create the Media Rescue.
- We boot up from the CD, we make the backup of this station to a external USB disk. (At this step no trouble).
- We restart the station, and when Windows XP SP3 boot up automatically, we cannot ping any other station present in the network. Ligths of the network device are off (green an yellow/green off).
- The solution I have found is to stop the station, unplug the PC 1 minute, plug it again, and the network controller works well (leds are on), and I could ping all others stations in the network.
This problem appears each time we backup stations with Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (FUJITSU Station type M470-2 or M570).
Other types of Controllers works well. Have you any solution for this trouble ?
Thank you for your answer.

Hi,
I have done another test. I've restored the backup on another computer (same P/N). I didn't see network problem after reboot.
So, it seems that problem occurs only when making backup, not restoring.
