Thread needs solution

I am getting error every time the backup run on my server.  The backup was running fine before 29 September, then starting from 29 Sep it fails everyday.

I did try to run the installer again to repair ABR but the backup still fails after the repair.  Please help, thank you.

Hello Sun Liew!

Welcome to our Forum, it's nice to have you with us! I understand how inconvenient the issue is, and I'll be glad to help you.

Looks like SnapAPI drivers either got blocked from the access to the drive, or there's some glitch occurred. The best way to cure it is to:

  1. Temporary disable any third party protection software (antivirus, firewall, backups, etc.).
All these solutions are using low-level drivers, that may prevent SnapAPI drivers from proper assigning to the drive
  2. Update the product to the latest build
  3. Go to Start -> Run -> cmd
    issue there the following command
    chkdsk /r /f
    and reboot the machine.
This operation will ensure us that there are not bad block on the drive

These steps should solve the issue. I'd appreciate if you could follow them, and let us know the issue state. This problem is important for us, and I'd like to guide it till its complete resolution.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
