all online backup failed in the past two days

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have an online account (onlinebackup1@brokerteam.ca) and backing up multiple VM (different archive files - one VM per archive). My last success backup was Jul 11 (3 AM). I've been getting the following errors. I'm still able look at the discovery points but not able to delete. Is this the same issue I've been having and related to the coming patch updates? OR this is something else?

Hi Aldous,

That's a different issue and there were problems on online servers (US2 datacenter) exactly at the time you specified. These problems have been addressed by our online backup team and now the service is available again. You should be able to continue backing up to online (but the other issues such as deletion of recovery points or "error 92" will still be present).

P.S. we are currently working on adding a notification about online servers availability (such as upcoming maintenance or downtime) on the clients side, so in future updates of vmProtect and other Acronis products (ABR/ATIH) you will see the status of the online servers right from the product.

Yes, my online backup is OK now. It is good news about the adding notification to the product. However, if the status also available from your web site, it will be perfect.
