Restore hidden files with ACPHO for Mac
Hello,
I'm looking for a way to recover hidden files from a files backup in ACPHO gui (V28.2.40901) for Mac (macOS Sonoma). The backups are stored in the Acronis Cloud. When I use the recovery option in the GUI, hidden files are not shown. Enabling hidden files in the Mac finder does not have any effect on the ACPHO gui.
I can see the hidden file, when I open the backup in the Acronis cloud via web browser, but I cannot find a way to see them in the ACPHO gui.
Thank you!

Hello!
If the backup was executed as a cloud archive that's expected: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATIMAC2024/#36944.h…
Also check this user-guide with more details: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATIMAC2024/#37844.h…
Best regards.

Thank you for your feedback. But unfortunately, I cannot find any information about restoring hidden files in the manual. Please excuse me if I have overlooked something.
I experienced the same behaviour when trying to restore hidden files from a backup stored on my NAS. I cannot see any hidden files to recover.

Thanks for the updates.
I suspect you are referring to this behavior: https://kb.acronis.com/content/62120. If yes, please apply the workaround suggested there.
If the issue persists, please contact our support at https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153
Best regards.

Yes, the problem I have is described in KB62120.
Unfortunately, the workaround does not apply to the current version of ACPHO and also not to a current version of macOS. It does not work.
I will contact the Acronis support.
