Creating a secure zone with existing data
I have been using ATI for a long time. I thought I would star using a secure zone for my backups. I have a hard drive I use exclusively for ATI backups. It is about 2/3 full. I haven't found anywhere where Secure Zone is technically explained. I started the process of making the entire drive a secure zone but it appeared that a new partition was going to be created which would wipe out the backup data I already have.
Can someone explain some basics about secure zone? like is this something you should create before you start creating backup with ATI? Can I create a secure zone and include data I already have created? Sorry for the dumb questions but I can't find explanations for these questions.
Thanks

I agree with Ian. Secure zone really doesn't offer extra protection and can complicate disk partitioning. Use encryption on your backups and general security practices and secure zone is a moot point for most setups these days.
