File system error on disk after creating a backup file
Hi to all
I don't use True Image as persistant software but only as Startup disk.
I have received a "file system corruption error" on a disk where i have created a backup file in from True Image startup disk.
These are the steps that i have followed:
- Restart PC from True Image startup disk
- Create a files/folder backup of a DISK 1 (Samsung 970 Pro) as a .tib file in DISK 2 (Samsung 970 Evo)
- Everything goes fine, and i have restarted PC
- On WIN10 i was trying to access DISK 2 and i received a "files system corruption error", and it was not possible to access disk
- i run chkdsk from UI interface and it solves the problem, now i have access to the disk, and everything seems to be fine; the .tib file is present and seems to be ok (see notes below)
I think that True Image does something on the file system, and create the problem.
After i have fixed the file system, the .tib was in "no owner" state, it was impossibile to manipulate it from not administrative account... i have fixed it and everything works.
I was working with 20770 release ot True Image 2020 (now i have created a new startup disk with 38530 version)
What do you think about it?
