BSOD when installing TI 2013
I'm getting a BSOD when installing TI 2013. I get though the serial number screen and the directory screen, but about 2 minutes into the installation, I get the blue screen. I have attached the .dmp and .xml files. I had to rename the XML to TXT so you will have to change it back to .xml.
Thanks,
Jim Rooney

Hello all,
Thank you for taking time to contact us.
James,
You may also use the cleanup utility to remove all the traces of previous installations and install the program from the scratch.
Thank you.

Hello all,
Jim,
We analyzed the dump file and found the reason.
The behavior is caused by HP 3D Driveguard program, please update it (a new version should be available on the HP web site) and see if the issue remains. We worked with HP lab on resolving the issue, and they promised to fix it.
Thank you.

Hi Oleg. I actually ended up removing that program as it was not protecting my drives anyway. Then after running the cleanup program, I tried the install again and it made it a very long way into it but then I got a blue screen again. I have attached the .dmp file for this one.
Thanks

Hello Jim,
Thank you for the provided information.
The new dump file shows that the BSOD issue was caused by hpdskflt.sys driver that is related to HP 3D Driveguard. Probably, the driver wasn't removed properly together with the program.
Please try to find this driver by means of Search tool. As far as I remember, one of our customers tried to get rid of this driver with no luck.
Thank you.

OK... I deleted the hpdskflt.sys file and then I used the cleanup utility. After the reboot, I made sure that the .sys file was not running and started the install. Unfortunately, just after it said it was writing to the registry and then installing again (10 seconds), I got the BSOD again. Attached it the .dmp file again.
Thanks,
Jim Rooney
