Completing processes etc

Thread needs solution

So many problems. Firstly I go to my account to update to the latest update but it only shows 2010 but does not show up the 2012 version I have purchased from here. It does show it in orders(what ever that means). So I can't update it.
Secondly lately when I close down my computer it says something about completing processes and stays like that for about 30 minutes EVERYTIME I shut down. At first I thought it was Windows but I googled it and found lots of talk about it being caused by Acronis Image dating back to 2010 but still not fixed.
Thirdly Acronis True image keeps high lighting a message saying it can't backup some folder but I can't get it to stop doing it. I click and tell it to ignore but it just keeps asking.

That said a few fantastic improvents like being able to hit f11 to run restore at startup. Would be good if it linked straight to your backup and asked if you want to run it but no biggy.

Hello Scott,

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here.

First of all, Acronis True Image Home 2012 didn't show up because you haven't registered it. Registering a license is not an automatic procedure, as some of the Customers prefer to purchase from one account, and register the license to another one. So you need to do it manually.

I have registered your license to your account, so now you can download, and install the update.

The issue with the completing process (usually it's the validation running at the background) was also addressed in the latest update.

We will also be glad to help you with the third issue, but we need some details. Please send us the screenshot of the issue, exact sequence of steps you've performed before facing the problem, what and to what location you're backing up, and Acronis Info from the problem machine.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you.

Ok I now have version 6154 but it is still happening. This program is making my computer unusable. I have had to restore the computer as I had to force it to shut down as I needed on my computer and it was doing this 'Operations are in progress, please wait'. This caused it to corupt windows.
I don't understand why ATI still has this bug after so long.

The message you asked about is failed to backup "Backupscriptengine@ wmp_12"

Hi, Scott,

we cannot localize the issue without the logs. According to the Development team the issue is fixed in the latest update, so something else might be causing it.

Please send us Acronis Info from the problem machine as I initially requested, it will help us to find the root of the issue, and fix it.

Thank you.

Typical Techies thinking everyone must know what they know. Acronis is causing this!!!
