Failure to create a bootable recovery disk
Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, fully patched and up to date
When trying to create a boot recovery disk, I get the following
0x0018000B+0x0018000B
This is a critical feature, please advise on how to overcome.

Pat, I'm a software architect for Microsoft, so yes, I'm reasonably tech savvy. For the previous version, I did download and burn the ISO images. I've registered my 2012 version twice and it's not showing up in their system as a product that I can access. So, not sure if there are ISO images for the rescue disks - and I need both the True Image and the Power Pack. Searching the knowledgebase for the error code reveals no findings and the error is repeatable. I've tried running with Admin privs and tried safe boot, still get the same error.

Eric,
If your serial number isn't showing up, you should contact Acronis as you'll never be able to download updates (as you know).
Did 2012 activate correctly?
Do you have only the one email address that you are using?
As far as the 'helpful'error message is concerned, did you have a previous version of TIH installed prior to installing 2012?
Do you have a mediabuilder folder showing up under Common Files?
Have you tried running MediaBuilder directly rather than through the GUI?
