"NTLDR Missing" msg before Win XP freezes on bootup.
I am using Win XP still and today received the "NTLDR Missing" error and this caused
my PC to not be able to boot. I have both DiskDirector 10 and True Image 10 that
I bought when I got my desktop system and I can boot with both DiskDirector10
and True Image10 in my DVD drive but I cannot directly access my main drive C:
that has Windows XP on it.
I am trying to copy the NTLDR file from the C:\root from another XP system
onto a DVD and then put it in the DVD drive of my crashed system and see
if the system will read the file and allow it to continue booting from C:
Can Acronis Disk Director or True Image help me here now ? I never did do a
backup or partition copy. I just want to get the system booted up and then
I will back up the important files.
Any suggestions or experts I could call for help here ? I dont mind paying
for support services but I dont know if Accronis is the right tool here ?
Thanks
