planed task fails (Acronis Recovery for Exchange)

Hello, we are running acronis recovery for Exchange Version 1 (build 220) on windows 2003 server with exchange 2003. We want to backup our information store and mailbox store. the planed task which should save hourly our mails fails. Can somebody help please, thanks. Our screenshots an saved logfile are in german, hope thats ok. Otherwise I will translate... Hello Roland,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to solve the issue.

According to the log file you receive “unknown MAPI error”. The source of the issue can be Microsoft Messaging API and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 are not installed. Install Microsoft Messaging API and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 on the machine with Microsoft Exchange Server.

thank you for your answer.
Microsoft Download Page says, it will not install any Exchange Server 2003
Does that mean I can not install this package ?
We are running exchange server 2003
The Microsoft Statement is a bit confusing.

Since it refuses to install, it means that most possible the issue was caused by some glitch in the rights, drivers or product configuration. I would appreciate if you could kindly allow us to check this and provide with the following information: 

  1. Exact sequence of steps performed before you faced the problem
  2. Version of MAPI
  3. Acronis Info from the machine in question
  4. Acronis Recovery for Exchange logs

Please kindly submit a support request with the gathered info attached, and let me know case number  - I'd like to make sure it is handled in a proper way.
